The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has given a final deadline to all customs officials to declare whether they hold dual nationality or not. A final deadline of August 28, 2022 to customs officials (Grade-17 and above) to declare their dual nationalities.

The detailed information on the prescribed format has been sought in respect of all customs officers of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), including officers on deputation and their spouses.

Customs and Revenue Branch (FBR) officers are being asked to apply for jobs as non-official representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), think tanks, research organizations/centers, consultancy firms/ organizations. The FBR has asked three questions from the customs officials;Whether the officer holds dual citizenship or is married to a foreign national?
