Students who want to return to China to resume their studies after a gap of several months have been asked to register online. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has sought fresh information from the students at the request of Chinese authorities. Students are advised to submit their information through an online form before 21 July 2022.
About 100 Pakistani students have left for China to resume their studies after returning to the country from Pakistan. The students will study in Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in central China.
Thousands of Pakistani students were prevented from returning to China during the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. The Chinese government denied these students permission to return for over two years despite easing restrictions on their travel and study in other parts of the country following the outbreak.
