
Pakistan Railways and Pakistan State Oil (PSO) have settled on installment of lease for rail routes land use following 40 years. The leased terrains are spread across country.
An understanding was reached between Pakistan Railways and Pakistan State Oil with respect to land lease here in Lahore at Railways Headquarters on Monday. As indicated by the subtleties, Pakistan Railways had rented a pieces of its property to PSO beginning around 1982 which was being utilized by Pakistan State Oil to store its oil holds.
Matters were forthcoming in both the foundations for fixing the lease of 15 spots since. The lawful groups of both the associations drafted the arrangement which was endorsed by Additional General Manager Infrastructure Arshad Salam Khattak of Pakistan Railways and GM Operations Atif Siddiqui of PSO.
Muhammad Hafeezullah, DG Land Pakistan Railways, said that the arrangement depended on common trust between the two establishments and will help in reestablishing the certainty of the two sides.
These site incorporates, Akora Khattak, Kundian, Sargodha, Badami Bagh 1, Badami Bagh 2, Kot Lakhpat 1, Kot Lakhpat 2, Faisalabad, Faisalabad 2, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Vehari 1, Vehari 2, Mehmoodkot and Haiderabad.
