Twitter is reportedly done with staff cuts and has resumed hiring once again. Blue Verification will not come back until Twitter can stop impersonating on the platform. The social network giant’s new CEO Elon Musk has also announced that Blue Verifying won’t come back.
Twitter will continue looking for people to fill engineering and sales roles, despite layoffs. Two executives who rebelled against CEO Elon Musk’s decision to cut jobs are reportedly being fired. Employees who remained will not be laid off, Musk told employees at an all-hands meeting.
Employees have also asked whether Twitter will move its headquarters to Texas. Musk says there are no plans to move Twitter HQ to Texas, but that being ‘dual-headquartered’ in both states might be beneficial.
